What are the Regular Holidays?
Please be informed that as per proclamation no.1841, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo declared the following holidays for the year 2010 as follows:
- New Year's Day - January 1
- Maundy Thursday - April 1
- Good Friday - April 2
- Araw ng Kagitingan - April 9
- Labor Day - May 1
- Independence Day - June 14
- National Heroes Day - August 30, Last Sunday of August
- Eidul Fitr - Movable Date
- Bonifacio Day - November 29
- Christmas Day - December 25
- Rizal Day - December 27
What are the Special Holidays?
Executive Order No. 203 lists down special days in 2010 that shall be observed in this country:
- Proclamation No. 2029 - April 3, 2010
- Proclamation No. 2020 Elections Day - May 10, 2010 (Monday - One time holiday)
- Proclamation No. 2085 Philippine Presidential Inauguration - June 30, 2010
- Ninoy Aquino Day - August 23 (RA 9256)
- All Saints Day - November 1
- Additional Holiday - December 24
- The last day of the year - December 31
