Every few months, we pack up a few balikbayan boxes full of supplies to send to the Manila OTD office.  Most of the items we send are either much cheaper in North American or unavailable in Manila.  In this batch, it was lots of snacks for the team as well as tshirts from conferences and popcorn for our new popcorn machine.  Balikbayan boxes are inexpensive to send, but the trade off is that they take weeks to arrive (they go via container ship) and there is no exact date for delivery.
